A bit about Dino Giammarino

Dino GiammarinoWhen Dino first discovered the art of winemaking, he was only six years old.

By helping out at his family’s winery in the mountains of Abruzzo, he learnt all the traditional skills and practices that make a fine, authentic wine.

Now as a leading winemaker, Dino uses his passion and expertise to craft his own unique reds and whites.

Two vineyards and a winery

Today, Dino uses his signature wine – produced at his winery in St Andrews – to showcase the beauty of traditional Italian culture.

From handpicking the grapes to choosing the perfect barrel, Dino injects quality and care into every step.

He also has two vineyards in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula. Whether it’s fresh mountainous air or a cool sea breeze, each vineyard produces a rare variety suited to the area’s climate. He even grows varieties brought over from Italy!
